An Orbital Defense Station are, as their name describes, orbiting stations around planetary bodies equipped with the largest form of the MAC Gun. These Defense Stations are found more commonly around UFS HIRs, but due to the expansion of the Farexys Empire, more of their planets have been equipped with ODS's, due to financial reasons it has not been possible to use them as widely as the UFS does.
